there's a plus side to everything.

You know when your child says something and you feel like the best parent in the world? I have those moments a lot.
The other day E was chewing on something in her bedroom, I hadn't given her any food in a while and we have a serious ant problem so I was concerned.
Me: Hey, what are you eating?
E: My boogers. They way yummy!

Another day, while waiting for the bathroom.
E: Mommy, I have to pee lots. Like cows. Cows pee lots?

Sometimes having a three year old who doesn't speak clearly enough for anyone to understand--especially since English isn't the first language of most the people we're around--is a huge bonus. Like when she sees people wearing those hospital masks around and loudly asks why they don't have mouths.
