I took Violet to her 2 month check up. Turns on vaccinations are crazy expensive here. Unless something was misunderstood in my argument with the cashier, fingers crossed there was, Violet's first year of Dr appointments is well on its way to costing more than her delivery. Oh well I guess polio would be worse. I'm not sure what the going rate is on an iron lung these days...
Anyways, according to the charts the doctor showed me Vi is big. I'm not sure if she's universally big or Thai big. Ok, I've lived here long enough to know she's more than Thai big. (But not long enough that I didn't accidentally try to give my taxi driver directions in Spanish the other day.) Unfortunately she's also decided she wants to be held, all of a sudden, not exactly fair to do now. I held Eliot from day one and my left arm muscles grew with her. With Vi the only muscles I use are the ones in my foot, to rock her bouncy seat. I much prefer it this way. Hopefully it's a passing phase, like Eliot wanting to wear all her clothes backwards.
Actual numbers:
Weight: 6.28 kg (13.77 lbs)
Length: 60.5 cm (23.8 inches)
Here's her chart and some pictures of the girls in my our new rocking chair. The first piece of furniture we've gotten here that isn't Swedish. And these were all taken on my phone as my computer is otherwise occupied.

The girls are both looking so cute in the new Rocker. Vi is looking so old sitting up. It is funny to wonder if the chart Is universal. Weight wise she is a little behind Pearl. (One month younger so they are probably close.) I don't remember Pearl's height. To me she looks shorter. If she takes after the Smarts, I'm sure she is probably shorter than Vi. Looks like a Great rocker!
Violet is so cute and BIG! I can't believe how much older and bigger she looks. Elie is looking so grown up, Max keeps asking when she's coming.
Violet looks super cute, she looks so much older than Bayliss. Amazing what a couple months does. I laughed thinking of you giving spanish directions. Awesome.
