please, name our baby for us

Back when I was pregnant with Violet, I was desperate to give her a name Rocky wasn't crazy about. We made a deal. I would name the girls, Rocky would name the boys. At this time, I was still convinced we would have all girls but basically, like Esau, I sold my birth-rite for a bowl of pottage.

I didn't even use the name I had fought for. Violet's name came off Rocky's list--he still refuses to void our contract. Something about it being binding.

Now that our baby boy is less than 3 months away from needing an actual name, Rocky is starting to feel the heat. He has requested I do a blog post to ask for boy name ideas and poll people on the list he has already assembled. So please, give him your input but remember if you're planning to vote for "Woody" 30 times a day, I still have veto power.

Oh dear Sara!! Hmm... How about I make you a deal and promise not to tell Al about this poll or that you're looking for suggestions, that will at least save you from names similar to Haus.

I tried and tried to get Elliot. Al even conceded at one point but then I revealed his plan to always blame me for everything he did because I named him :)

When you're the Grandma I think you probably don't dare to pick a name, unless maybe you're Phyl Phyl! I'm pretty sure she wanted Porter too!
