While we were staying at the cabin E and some of her cousins did some horse back riding. I overheard E telling her instructor that though this was her first time riding a horse, she had ridden lots of elephants. It is as pretentious sounding as it is true. For her sake, I hope horseback riding is significantly less boring than elephant trekking.
We opted out for Vi as the last time she rode an elephant she tried to suicide dive off. She spent the time in the back of the truck trying to dive out--so I guess there really is no safe option for our little dare devil these days.
Every time E rode around passed us, she gave us this condescending wave. Something akin to, "Hello, my lowly subjects. I condescend to acknowledge your lowly presence from up on my high horse."
She was excited to wear her riding boots. Her inference that her rain boots are designed for riding, like her inability to be outside at night, pegs her straight away as a city slicker.
