jurassic park

We took advantage of our first/last free Saturday and headed out to our favorite Thai zoo. You can rent golf carts to tour the zoo and basically Winston's life just peaked.

Whoever runs the zoo is incredibly business savvy. The sell the food that the animal eats right by the animals cage (or lack of cage in the case of this deer) then you can buy the food to feed to the animal. After you've paid for your ticket and golf cart. I'd love to see their overhead costs.
Rocky and I again debated what our rescue plan would be if one of our kids fell into this incredibly easy to access hippo pool. So far we have no good options, so children be warned.

Being raised with a drooly bulldog has prepared Winst for having no qualms with sticking his entire hand into this giraffe's mouth.

really though, I would love to see an ostrich swallow a camera. I bet it's a lot more entertaining than having Delta/KLM swallow it. (in related news, I only have a few pics from our trip to Amsterdam as Delta/KLM lost my bag with my camera in it.)

The biggest hit of all was the wild monkeys. We put all the kids in our friends golf cart then threw bananas at them and laughed as we watched the monkey rip them apart.

This is by far the closest we will ever come to living in Jurassic Park--something I'm completely okay with.
