Eliot organized a nativity for our family for Christmas eve. She gave everyone roles and costumes and insisted we do it outside. It was a bit cold but it was the perfect way to start our Christmas.
Christmas morning was wonderful.
Santa brought Oscar this adorable Ghostbusters shirt that he will need to wear several layers under.
Eliot was pretty excited about her new camera.
Oddly enough, Violet was not as excited for her alarm clock. I was even less excited for Eliot's violin (luckily it's a rental and we can take it back as soon as we come to our senses.)
We had to put the google goggles away after our kids almost fell down the stairs several times wearing them.
As always my favorite part of Christmas was seeing the gifts my children bought and made for each other and how excited they were to share joy with each other. I think, perhaps, this is a small glimpse of how our Father in Heaven feels when we are kind and giving to each other. It was a happy Christmas.
