After we got back from the states, we tried to soak up all the time in the Swiss mountains we could. One of the things I love about Switzerland is how accessible and fun for kids that they make hiking. One of our favorite hikes was the barefoot path in Engelberg. There is a trail around a small lake that kids can walk around barefoot, experiencing different textures on the paths. Our kids, or course, ended up swimming.
Violet didn't want to leave this giant Chess set.
Jet lag got the best of us plenty of days.
Somedays we ventured out of the mountains and into some other places.
We loved having my cousin, Sadie come visit.
It wouldn't be a holiday with out a visit to the Transport Museum.
Rain or shine, we tried to take advantage of the beautiful mountains.
Rocky's car looks so tiny alone in the parking lot. We couldn't let Sadie leave without taking it for a spin.
Really, we almost didn't let her leave at all. Winston still asks when she is coming back. When we ate fondue with her, Winston kept purposely dropping his bread into the cheese to give her a kiss. It was adorable.
