Every time I see this picture it makes me smile, she looks like a little potato bug--it's so cute. And then I think of the summer my cousin, Megan, and I spent trying to eradicate all potato bugs through the use of a hose and dawn soap and it makes me smile more.
She's always had a flair for fashion but lately it's been taken to the extreme. Rocky has been getting her dressed and taking her to school. She's been choosing her outfits for awhile but generally her choices are strongly influenced and, perhaps even, manipulated by me. Rocky is more into inspiring creativity.
Hot pink shirt, double tutus and yellow rain boots. It wasn't raining, temperatures were over 90 with 2000% humidity but she was sticking with her choices.

1st off, Elie is looking so tall and grown up! And just for the record, I love her style. 2nd, I need more pics of Violet! And she does look like an adorable little potato bug. So cute.
