aw cwap!

 This girl is so much fun. She loves everything. She wants to pick up every single rock, leaf, feather, sea shell....the list could go on and on. She has a rock collection, a coin collection, and a sea shell collection--and those are just the collections I know about.

The other day we were blowing leaves off our fingers and I told her she could make a wish. Her first wish was that she could find a flower for her mom. Then she ran over, picked up a flower off the lawn and said, "My wish came true!" Her next wish was for a 'golden leaf that doesn't break' (a dead leaf that is not crusty and hard, I guess.)  She became increasingly frustrated that her wish was not instantly granted--until she lost interest and tried to catch some fish in a flower pot full of water.

Everywhere she is, she is happy. When I told her we were going back to Bangkok she said, "Aww man!" When we got home to our apartment she exclaimed, "Me so happy me here!"

I am constantly finding myself laughing at loud at the things she says. Usually, when laughing is not the appropriate response. She's a funny girl at a funny stage. Here are some highlights:

E: Mom, Vi's so cute. Please we get another girl one.

 E: Aw cwap! Me forgot my packpack!
Me: Um. Let's not say that word.
E: We only say it if we forget things? Like, cwap, me forgot things!
Me: Uh no...

 Me: Sorry, Charlie!
E: Me not Charlie!

E: Look Hannah, me can read, "And Alma went to the plates and turned to wickedness."

E: Me want something to sleep with.
Me: You have Blankie-blankie
E: (looking down at Blankie-blankie) Me want something with a head.

E: Mom, your eyebrows are so long, they look like a prince. My eyebrows are short, like a princess. 

E: This painting is called 'The Wicked Lamanite."

Upon getting off the airplane in BKK, to a group of businessmen:

E: Follow me ewryone! Me know the way! Me smawt!
