no, but really, it's hot here

This is normal two year old hair, right?
It's crazy to think that just two years ago she had a head full of black hair. It never fell out, just slowly changed colors. I've trimmed a rat tail or two off and I cut her bangs every other month or so, but she's never had a real hair cut.
So, I'm bad at braiding. I do think I'm getting better. I will be a pro by the time Winston's peach fuzz is long enough to braid. (That was a joke, Rocky.)
I got my camera out to document the mane before it's gone.
It's been so hot here everyday, do I mention that a lot? It's really hot.

Despite being born here, she does not tolerate heat. She sleeps with the air con on and an extra fan pointing right on her crib and still sometimes wakes up with heat rash. And she gets the cutest little back sweat just by walking outside. It's adorable. I'm sure she'll love it when she's a teenager. So you can imagine how her hair handles it--it spends a lot of time plastered to her head and it stinks, like it smells, really bad.
Everyday I swear I'm going to cut her hair but by the time I get her into her high chair for dinner (the location where all high class hair cuts take place) I'm so exhausted from the day, I put it off for tomorrow.

It's not even 9:30 AM, she's been outside for 5 minutes and she's already sweaty.
So basically, she can keep her hair until I get more sleep or grow up to be an adult and stop procrastinating.

I love this picture because I can just hear her yelling, "me crash e-ie!" and she did.  She chased her down until she triumphantly smacked the back of her bike. Her persistence has left its mark all over my stroller and on the backs of my legs.
These two are so much fun. (Don't ask me what E is doing in long pants, I'm sure she was roasting.)

Ha ha this is so funny cause I was just talking to Rocky about her hair! I'm pretty sure it's how Simons hair would have been if he was a girl. Rocky told us you were thinking about cutting it, she will be adorable no matter what and hair like that has a way of growing back beautifully! Good luck with the chop chop!
