the hulk.

We held a YM/YW activity last week where some of the leaders disguised themselves and hid throughout the mall. The youth then had to try and find them. After brainstorming different ways he could make himself look Asian, Rocky decided to go a completely different route. He decided to disguise himself among the Avengers display at the cinema (all malls in BKK have a movie theater on top of them).

But Avengers had been out too long and all the displays were for Mad Max and this trusty Buzz Lightyear.

He was still a big hit. Eliot and I went early (she was on her way to a birthday party) but we were told that Rocky driving his scooter to the Terminal 21 (the mall of choice) almost caused a dozen accidents. There were apparently a lot of double and triple look backs and a tuk tuk driver
When Eliot and I went upstairs to see him, there was a line of people waiting to take their picture with him.
She told me, "I'm so embarrassed to see Dad." I don't think she really was as her super hero of choice is She-Hulk. I'm really hoping to convince her to do this for Halloween.

Rocky swung by our favorite Vietnamese sandwich place on his way home and made their facebook page. But what he needed to do was have them follow him home so they knew where they were supposed to be delivering the lemongrass chicken banh mi every day.

On a more depressing note, when I sent these pictures to my mom, she thought this picture of our other YM leader dressed as a woman, was me. I don't think that something I will ever fully recover from. Apparently my dad replied, "There's no way that's her. Look how strong those arms are."

Rocky's costumes have come a long way, I remember when he just put a pumpkin on his head and called it good. Not sure how that would have fit in in BK, though.
