There is a custody battle in our home lately. Violet received this doll from Eliot for her birthday. Upon opening it she said, "A doll? I don't like dolls!" and then tossed it aside. Winston found it and it has become his favorite toy. As soon as Violet saw this, she laid her claim. Winston was heartbroken."My baby, my baby." He would take care of the baby while Vi was at school and then she would come home and, somewhat violently, take it away. Luckily for Winston, Vi has about a 3 minute doll attention span. Soon she was back building with her magnets or coloring on furniture and Winton could sweep in and take his baby back.
Winston has been trying to phase out his naps. Which isn't okay. I'm doing whatever I can to keep them going. Even if it means napping with him.
Rocky always insists the girls need Easter dresses and picked these up at JJ market. I'm going to miss the option of shopping at the market.
Eliot and her friends at the school Songkran celebration. Sent to me by another mom because it's million degrees and I stayed in my air conditioned home instead of attending.
Maeser came for a visit and we had so much fun. We took these three out for ice-cream. I remember when they were born--two weeks between the three of them. Violet and Tuck have become inseparable and play together every afternoon. I don't think she has any idea that a world exists in which Tucker is not her neighbor and his fridge is not stocked with chocolate milk.
Every day these two insists they need their own rooms and every night they fall asleep cuddling.
Violet had a birthday party for a friend, Eliot tagged along and Violet was pleased as punch to have Eliot to play with, completely ignoring her friends.
2/3 of our kids still think mascots are weird.
We spent yesterday at a waterpark on the sixth floor of the mall. Everyone had so much fun, we stayed for five hours. Then they all crashed on the way home and were monsters until bedtim.
I love finding pictures by Violet on my phone. Especially when I'm not a hunchback lurking in the background of them.

Good job Rocky, picking out the dresses! So glad Vi has had Tucker the past two years.
