30

When I was younger, I used to ask every year for a surprise party. Every year my mom would say, "Well, I can't do it now, you already know." I finally got my wish and this year, a week before my birthday Rocky mentioned we were going out to dinner. As I walked into the restarauant and saw the balloons and all my friends, the first thing I thought was, "I wish I'd showered today." My personal hygiene aside, it was a great birthday party and I even got to be the weirdest person on Thonglor, riding home with all these balloons.

So far thirty has been good. I've been leading people to believe I was in the thirties for years, so it's great to finally be the age I've been pretending to be. Now that I'm thirty, I've got life all figured out.

The highlight of my party, besides the balloons (FYI I hate balloons with fiery passion and Rocky, who bought all the balloons, is well aware of this) was my birthday cake made by my friend, in the shape of our soon-to-be new home. It was delicious, as I assume Switzerland will be as well. We finally rented a house (fingers crossed everything goes through) and we should be open for visitors around August.

That's so fun that you FINALLY had a surprise party. And that you were really surprised. I really appreciate how Rocky has finished raising you. Now all your dreams have come true!
