Eliot has taken to writing us angry notes when things don't go her way. She usually balls them up or folds them into paper airplanes which she throws down the stairs. Last weekend she wasn't allowed to go to a friends house to play mario. She stormed upstairs, changed into her pajamas (at 3 pm) and threw this letter down, then threw it down again when it didn't reach the bottom of the stairs.
My favorite part is how happy Rocky and I look.
When we didn't respond with the reaction she wanted, caving to her demands. She built herself a fort out of blankets, assumably so she wouldn't have to see our obnoxious smiling faces. When I cleaned up the fort later on, I found this note she had made for herself, it says "Be happy ever day." I left it up because I need this reminder far more than she does.
I also love her Summer To do list:
1. Play with cousins.
2. Go to strawberry days.
3. Go to cabin
4. Play with Abe
5. Go to grandma's house
6. Share my dance DVD
7. Plant in garden.
I think we can do all these things.
