teeth

Remember a year ago when Winston fell off a chair, teeth first, onto our tile floors? Well I do. It was incredibly traumatic, there was a lot of blood and it resulted in two crowns. Flash forward a year to his check up and it turns out his crowns are infected. The x-rays showed the infection hadn't yet spread to his adult teeth, and with a root canal there was a 60% chance we could maybe save one of the teeth. Instead of having snaggle tooth for the next 4-6 years, we opted to forgo the root canal and pull them both. Rocky says he looks like a really short six year old. I think he looks like a child with negligent parents.  But after watching him ramble about full speed, I realized we should be glad he has only lost two teeth at this point.
Getting  x-rayed. He was a champ. I couldn't be in with him but he sat still and patiently. During the tooth pulling, he held on tight to his car and my hand. And screamed at the top of his lungs.
 A selfie with Eliot.

He's adorable. We will keep him, tooth gap, Bernie Sanders hair and all.
