because i want to be one.

Winston introducing Oscar to his love of all things bears. The other day Eliot was asking Winston why he liked bears so much and he responded as if it was obvious, "'Cause I want to be one."
When the snow poles went up by our house I got a little nervous. Then we didn't have any snow at all for a month and I relaxed. Then we got a foot in two days. You're keeping me on my toes, Switzerland. I respect that.

We call this 'ninja baby' he stayed like this for a long time.

One day I'm going to look back on my life and think 'I miss playing the matching game' today is not that day. Maybe I'm just a sore loser after coming in third behind these two.
Oscar when his 1-3 month clothes were still big on him.
When my mom was in town she taught Winston to 'make a man' as in lay out your clothes for the net day on your floor. He was so proud to show me his man--a BYU sweatshirt and sweat shorts. There was a foot of snow outside and I had, only moments before, mocked Rocky for wearing this same outfit. Clearly this apple has not fallen far from the comfortable though unseasonable clothes tree.
