Spends several hours stuck with each other.
Before we traded in our hiking shoes for snow boots and moved into the giant snow globe, we went for one more family hike--Oscar's first mountain.
These pictures Rocky took biking, they have nothing to do with this hike but I'm not doing a separate post and they are too beautiful to pass over.Last summer when we went on our first family hike to Stuart Falls in Sundance. Winston had to be carried the whole time because he was terrified of any incline in the ground. He had lived his whole life in a concrete jungle of Bangkok and going down hill or uphill always ended very badly. This was hilarious for me but not so much for Rocky who had to slog him on his shoulders the whole way up and down.
He's come a long way. While sometimes he would prefer to be carried, most of the time he proudly hikes by himself. One time we tried to carry him (to speed up our pace) and he insisted, "No, I hiking boy. I go by myself." It's pretty incredible how fast kids can grow and change.
A silly family selfie. If you look very closely you can almost see Oscar.
Those two toe heads are so lucky to have this big sister.
We love being able to spend so much time outdoors in these beautiful mountains.
