I've been trying to do a better job at documenting the moments in our lives that I'm not going to share on Instagram but are still beautiful and special to me. I am best at this when Rocky is traveling. I tend to send him 5-6 pictures a day of random things because I want him to share these moments with me (for better or for worse).
The girls getting ready for ballet practice and me with little Oskar.Winston has re-discovered his love for his green bike and talks about it all the time. Unfortunately, our home is not located in a bike friendly area--if we are ever headed somewhere that could possibly work for biking, I through it in the back of the car.
Watching his favorite youtube videos: other people assembling their toys.
Donkey rides at a local park.
Rocky insisted on buying this portable, folding boat and sending it in our shipment. I ho-hummed that it wouldn't float but here it is floating and almost legal.
Winston was given this neat gondola. It runs across our playroom. We wake up every morning to the squeak of it taking a new load of people (or hot wheels) across the room.
Eliot got a certificate for doing a good job on her homework.
When Rocky and I both drive to church, no one wants to go in my car. Except Oskar. but that is mainly because his carseat doesn't fit in the mini.
This weather and Oskar sleeping better has me taking some early morning runs again. I love running by these cows. Except when my trail is routed through their pasture and I have to take the long way 'round while they stare me down.
Being outside is best for everyone!
Six months old.
I've been spring cleaning this past week. In exchange for me sorting through the house and ridding it of clutter, V and W gave each other haircuts. If you were wondering what Winston's looked like, it's this
I had planned to fix it today before we ran out of time but alas it is Easter Monday--who knew everything was closed. I did it myself. I call it Sarah and Fenton circa 1991.
They also flooded the bath today and ran our house out of hot water. Have I mentioned how sweet Oskar is...
