to paris

Since our week off coincided with the opening of the Paris Temple open house, after we had our fill of London city parks, we hopped on the Eurostar and took the train to Paris.
There's not much that's glamorous about traveling with small children. Sometimes you set up an iPad on the sidewalk while you wait for your uber.
In Paris we continued to blow people's minds with how many small children we had while we rode the bus tour and bribed our kids to smile for pictures with the promise of a carousel ride.

We found a place that served mac and cheese inside a grilled cheese sandwich and declared it the best French food of all. Their rating was vastly helped by their willingness to give a party of 12 with no reservation a table.
 We toured Versailles.
The gardens were a big hit.

And walked from the gardens to the temple.
It was really neat to walk through with our kids and talk about why we have temples.
I don't think Winston has ever looked as fondly at anything as he is looking at that chocolate croissant.

All in all it was a wonderful trip and we loved spending time with our family in beautiful Paris.
