blast from the past

Here I am desperately trying to catch up on my blog before school lets out (we pull our kids out 2-4 weeks early) and summer take us over.

Early May we woke to a huge blizzard. Before it was over we had two feet of fresh snow. Vi was off school for Spring Break but Eliot's school had changed the buses winter tires and they couldn't make it to all the mountain villages. She was over the moon excited when she found out about the reality of "snow days". After they dug out all the snow clothes I had neatly packed away weeks ago, they played in the snow four hours.

A week later it was gone and we were back to spring. Eliot made Winston's day by drawing him a chalk outline of a helicopter. It even had buttons to push to go fast, slow and crazy mode.
Oskar is as cute as ever. He loves to smile.
 My hiking girl.
Eliot put this book in his hand and loved watching him pretend to read this book.
I'm not sure I've had a more smiley baby. And Violet climbing at ISZL international day.
Enjoying the fruits of the world.
