phone dump

Just a bunch of blurry photos, with no common theme, to document what we have been up to lately.
Hiking, cooking out, and dumping our kids into water troughs.

Late evenings at the lake eating yogurt and granola because that's all the food left in the house.

Wednesdays afternoons at the lake. We love Wednesdays.

 Oskar dressed like a Racoon.
Taking the long way home from church for a picnic.
I hope my kids someday appreciate this beautiful part of the world we get to enjoy every day.

Eliot came home from school and told us her homework was to to go the local fair. We couldn't question her, so we put on our shoes and jackets and went.
There is never enough Oskar time. He really is the sweetest kid. He crawls around like a puppy dog--always trying to make a break for the stairs or any loose food on the ground. He loves his sisters and his brother but really loves his dad. I thought I would have a few more months being the favorite but as soon as he sees Rocky he lights up and starts chanting, "Da Da Da" It's pretty adorable.
Winston rocking the difficult task of riding a bike and eating a hot dog at the same time. Who says boys can't multi task?

We had some more visitors and watched the cows come down the mountains. My kids were pretty excited that they have new cousins that we never told them about. They keeping asking when "the new cousins are coming back"

After a long summer reading list, Eliot finally earned HP 6. She bought herself the British version and has already had it taken away for sneaking it into bed past bed time.

My dad would always put the guilty book on his bedstand so that if we tried to sneak in and steal it back he would catch us.
