Per usual we kept it pretty low key on Halloween. I don't decorate for holidays other than Christmas, so here my kids are making their own Halloween decorations.
Eliot has wanted to by a mummy for years. I have successfully staved it off until now. Violet was going to be a fairy princess until we happened upon this costume. She fell in love. She makes a pretty good Cheetah face. The real challenge was not to capture it, but to capture a moment of her not doing making this face.
Winston was a mostly fearless knight. His only fear was Violet as a Cheetah. Every time she growled at him he went a bit soft. We kept reminding him that he had a sword but he was terrified of her.
Taking the elevator out to trick or treat. Oscar as a gnome and Rocky as whatever he was. Winston had a costume change to an astronaut and Rocky painted his face with stars and moons.
The after effects of being a mummy. I'm not convinced there's a wrap job that can keep a mummy together successfully while trick or treating.
