We've been lucky enough to escape Bangkok for the beach a couple weekends in the past few months. (Pattaya, Koh Samet and Dolphin Bay) Here is photo proof.
I had the genius idea to promise a new pool toy to whoever slept in the longest on Saturday morning. Turns out Winston doesn't care if he gets a new pool toy and he's the only one I really want to sleep in.
Eliot did get this gigantic alligator. So we're stuck with that.
If I had to estimate how many times Rocky took Winst down this slide I would say at least 100. I took him down once. This sums up our parenting.
The beach is always fun with friends.
Headed out to Monkey Island. Not really though because none of them wanted to go back. Turns out their nightmares are still rife with rabid monkeys.
In Hua Hin the water is so warm and shallow, the rain makes for a perfect beach day.

Violet found this shark fin in the free pool toys. She kept it on all weekend and gained a great amount joy in sneaking up and scaring little kids.
Rocky buried each kid at least 5 times.
Turns out Winston didn't want to be buried.
We've owned this boat for more than three years and brought it with us to a half dozen beaches. This the first time anyone other than Rocky has played with it.
He was happy with it for over an hour.
Beach weekends are hard to beat. (and yes Winston has a black eye.)

I love the picture of Winston buried in the sand! So great! He is super adorable. I especially love his legs.
This looks so, so fun! Can't believe how big Winst is getting!
